Our new Artist Store look on IndieMe

After many months of design and programming work we are happy to announce our new Artist Store view has arrived. Based on feedback from our member advisory group we made the store template more user friendly with a focus on the products!

Our new updates include a new top navigation bar! You will notice fresh new icons along with a NEW Cart button making it easier for buyers to view all their open carts, leading to an easy checkout.

The new look starts at the top where you will find the top banner now sports a white background. Artists the perfect banner size is 1400 w x 250 h pixels. For your logo's we find the perfect size to be 340 w x 230 h pixels.

As you scroll down the page you will find we moved the categories so products load first. Find the category section on the right panel. Notice the view more link - we love this new category view!

Moving down the page you will see the products have been given a lot of attention. First you will see two tabs, one for the artist product view and the second for the About us view. Easily transition from one view to the other. Hover over an image and check out the new hover effect. We moved the Best Seller and New Work labels to BELOW the image (we heard you loud and clear on this one;). 

Brand new icons will be visible on top of an item if you have the item in your cart, wish list or have previously purchased it. How easy is that for quickly knowing what your history is with any item!

Notice now you will find twice as many products on one page. Yep you heard it right - 58 products! That means less paging for the buyer and more focus on all the wonderful products.

At the end of the first product page you will find a brief Artist Statement, allowing the buyer to get a glimpse into the artist and their story. Want to read more? Simply click on the button Go to About Us. There you can learn all about the artist, their products and their inspiration. We wrap up the page with the artist's footer banner (sized the same as the top artists).

These are just a few of the visible updates you will see. So much more is happening behind the scenes that makes loading, navigating, and viewing much more enjoyable for our members. Our focus is on growth - not just for us but for all of our wonderful members. We appreciate you!
